What Are the Exams?
Physical Agility
In some positions, it is required that you test your ability to perform physically. The requirements are composed from the Washington State standards.
Written Exam
All positions through the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office are required to go through a written test. Passing grade is 70% or higher.
Scoring
Your written score will also be your overall score (unless you are taking a physical agility in which a pass score will give you 10 points) which will determine your rank on the eligibility list. The top three applicants' file will be forwarded to the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office for interviews and further testing.
For example:
John Doe Written: 82.69% Overall Score: 82.69%
The Overall Score has to be above 70% to be placed on the eligibility list.
