What to do if you disagree with your Assessment
If you disagree with the assessed value of your property, we encourage you to contact our office to review your valuation. In some cases, we may have incorrect characteristics that may change the value of your assessment. Many property owners can often settle disagreements at this level without having to continue the appeals process. However, you still need to preserve your appeal rights by filing your appeal form with the Board of Equalization.

What is the Board of Equalization?

How to get an Appeals Form
There are several ways to get the forms:
Visit the Clerk of the Board for the Klickitat County Board of Equalization, 205 S. Columbus, Room 103, Goldendale, WA 98620.

Visit the Assessor's Office and pick up a form at 205 S. Columbus, Room 200, Goldendale, WA 98620 or at the White Salmon Pioneer Center, 501 NE Washington Street, Second Floor, White Salmon, Wa

Through the mail by contacting the Clerk at (509) 773-4612. Voice mail is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Simply leave your name, parcel number, telephone number and mailing address.
