At 5:30 on March 23, 2020, Governor Inslee issued an order requiring everyone in the state to stay home except to pursue essential activities such as medical and food. This order bans all gatherings for social, spiritual, and recreational purposes and requires all businesses to close with the exception of essential businesses. The bans on gatherings will take effect immediately while businesses must close within 48 hours after Gov. Inslee signs the order.

This order will last for two weeks but could be extended if necessary.
