NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO USE
KLICKITAT COUNTY
HISTORICAL PRESERVATION FUNDS
The Klickitat County Board of Commissioners has discretionary funds, generated by recording fees, which are intended to promote historical preservation or historical programs, which may include preservation of historic documents. Klickitat County is currently seeking proposals for projects to use these funds. The total amount to be awarded in 2017 is $5,000 with a minimum award per approved applicant of $500.00 and a maximum award per approved applicant not to exceed $1,000.
Projects may be to acquire or preserve local historic buildings, artifacts or documents; to develop and present local historical programs or events; or to perform research into local history. Applicants must be non-profit or governmental entities which perform educational, interpretive, or preservative activities within the boundaries of Klickitat County which promotes or preserves the County’s local history.

Applications must be completed in full and received in the Klickitat County Commissioners office on or before 5:00 PM on Friday, March 17, 2017. (mail or fax submissions will not be accepted).
