Unhealthy for Sensitive GroupsKlickitat County Department of Public Health is extending the current Air Quality Advisory to beeffective through next week. Forecasts indicate continued smoke impacts across all of Washingtonthrough the weekend. We will provide updates as conditions change.Air quality in smoke impacted regions of Klickitat may be Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups. Air quality isgenerally at the poorest in the morning and evening period of the day. Smoke advisories providegeneralized regional information only. Air quality conditions may change rapidly and vary greatlythroughout the county area.More people than average may have breathing problems or have worsened symptoms of existing asthmaor lung disease. Sensitive groups include people with heart or lung disease, asthma, diabetes, infants,children, adults older than 65, pregnant women, or who have had a stroke. These people should limittime spent outdoors. Excessive heat may make these conditions worse.Adverse symptoms may include dizziness, headache, difficulty breathing, coughing, excessive phlegm,and nausea.
