1)     Resolution scheduling public hearings for 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 21, 2006 to consider two applications for classification as open space land for current use tax assessments under Chapter 84.34 RCW.
2)     Certificate of Appreciation and letter accepting the resignation of Tammy Hosaka from the Skamania-Klickitat Family Service Network.
3)     Scheduling two public meetings as follows: For 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 19, 2006: Consider acceptance of road right-of-way (Sleepy Hollow Road), Short Plat No. SPL2005-14; Applicant: SDS Co., AND
     For 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2006: Consider approval of Preliminary Plat No. SUB2005-01 (Amour Estates); Applicant Crosscut Construction.
4)     Resolution in the matter of considering a petition requesting annexation of certain properties into the boundaries of Klickitat County Fire Protection District No. 3 involving 322.44 acres.
5)     Authorization to begin the advertising process to hire a replacement Civil Deputy (position provides courtroom security) which is a union position, Step 1 ($11.47 per hour). This position became vacant August 11, 2006.
6)     Amendment No. 1 to Interlocal Agreement, Contract #C05306, between Klickitat County and Centerville School District #215 amending the “scope of work” to include Objective #4 to purchase a law tractor for the school.
7)     Revised Small Works Contract provisions between Klickitat County (Public Works) and McNealy Excavating Inc. for the improvement of 1.32 miles of Sixprong Extension Road, County Road No. 45890, CRP #265, from Mile Post 0.00 to Mile Post 1.32.
8)     Agreement to Designate Haul Routes, Haul Route Agreement No. White Creek 2006-1, between Klickitat County and White Creek Project, LC. This agreement shall be completed for existing, new, and expanded hauling operations that may cause accelerated deterioration of county roads that are a Haul Route.
9)     Scheduling public meetings for 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 as follows: Consideration of approval of alteration to Lots 2 & 4, SP-99-326, Boundary Line Adjustment BLA2006-18; Applicant: Six S. Company, AND Consideration of approval of alteration to Lot 1 SPL2000-00024, Short Plat No. SPL2006-10; Applicant: Jim Farrer.
10)     Scheduling public meetings for 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 as follows: Consider Planning Commission recommendation for approval for Preliminary Plat No. SUB2006-02 (Kreps Acres Subdivision); Applicant: K Enterprises, LLC; Representative: Howard Kreps, AND Consider Planning Commission recommendation for approval for Preliminary Plat No. SUB2006-03 (Box Canyon Estates); Applicant: Box Canyon Estates/Sunset Estates Inc.; Representative: Michelle Watson.
11)     Resolution in the matter of authorizing the Public Works Department to purchase one (1) new 2007 Ford F250, heavy duty ¾ ton, extended cab pickup (4X4), from Columbia Ford, at the Washington State bid price of $23,981.40.
12)     Resolution in the matter of authorizing the Public Works Department to purchase five (5) 2007 Ford F250, heavy duty ¾, crew cab pickups (4X2), from Columbia Ford, at the Washington State bid price of $106,385.40.
13)     Professional Services Agreement between Klickitat County (Health Department) and Maria A. Sanchez. Purpose of the agreement is to provide education and outreach service to the Spanish speaking pregnant women and women of childbearing age, including early entry care, avoiding tobacco and substance use, eating a balanced diet including folic acid supplements, local area resources supporting healthy lifestyles.
14)     2005-2006 Consolidated Contract Amendment No. 11, Contract #C13038, between the State Department of Health and Klickitat County (Health Department) amending “Exhibit B (10) Allocation Sheet with a revised allocation. The revision will result in the addition of $500 to the EHD/Drinking Water/SS program, $11,538 for the HCCW Infant/Toddler Program, and $1,763 to the WIC/USDA program.
15)     2005-2006 Consolidated Contract Amendment No. 12, Contract #C13038, between the State Department of Health and Klickitat County (Health Department) amending “Exhibit B (11) Allocation Sheet with a revised allocation. The revision will result in the addition of $4,165 to the Pandemic influenza program and revises the total maximum consideration to an amount not to exceed $708,716.
16)     County Road Administration Board Rural Arterial Program Prospectus for improvement to Hale Road, County Road No. 46180, beginning at Mile Post 7.66 and ending at Mile Post 13.93.
17)     County Road Administration Board Rural Arterial Program Prospectus for improvement to Lakeside Road, County Road No. 19270, beginning at Mile Post 0.00 and ending at Mile Post 2.20.
18)     County Road Administration Board Rural Arterial Program Prospectus for improvement to Sleepy Hollow Road, County Road No. 14100, beginning at Mile Post 0.00 and ending at Mile Post 1.47.
19)     Authorization to Proceed to allow Data Abstract Solutions (DAS) to scan approximately 20 boxes of archival files for the Clerk’s Office. DAS will index and put the images on CDs. $20,000 has been allocated for the overall project through the Auditor’s O&M Fund and this portion is expected to be well less than $10,000.
20)     Authorization to begin the advertising process to hire a replacement Transportation Coordinator in the Senior Services Department at Range 9, Step A ($11.50 per hour).
21)     Request for a Burn Ban variance to allow campfires at Trout Lake County Park during the Labor Day weekend, starting Saturday, September 1, through Monday, September 4, 2006.
