III. Approval Of Commissioner Meeting Minutes:
Approval of Commissioner Meeting minutes as may be presented.
IV. Citizen Comments:
Comments Will Be Limited To Seven (7) Minutes Per Individual.
V. (1:30): Public Hearings/Public Meetings/Bid Openings:
No Schedule.
VI. (1:30): Consent Agenda
1) Purchase Authorization to allow the Klickitat County Clerk’s Office to purchase one (1) Fijutsu 5120C scanner, at a cost of $1,063.84.
2) Amendment to Lease Agreement (C09208) between Klickitat County and Pitney Bowes Global Financial Services to amend the contract by adding “Softguard/SMA” (postal rate software and scale maintenance) which was not included in the original contract.
3) Personnel Authorization to Hire outside the pay schedule for the CASA Volunteer Coordinator position at Range 10, Step D ($14.34 per hour) in the Juvenile Department.
4) Personnel Authorization to advertise to fill a Maintenance Technician position in the Public Works – Road Department at Step 1 ($15.54 per hour) of the collective bargaining agreement. This position has been vacant since August 1, 2007.
5) Personnel Authorization to advertise to fill a Maintenance Technician position in the Public Works – Road Department at Step 1 ($15.54 per hour) of the collective bargaining agreement. This position will become vacant September 1, 2008.
6) Scheduling a public meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 1:30 PM to consider approval of alteration to Lot 1, SP94-11 and surety/performance bond for Short Plat No. SPL2008-05; Applicant: Peter and Tammy Dennis.
7) Haul Route Agreement, submitted by the Public Works Department, to designate haul routes for Windy Point Partners, LLC. This Haul Route Agreement shall be completed for existing, new, and expanded hauling operations that may cause accelerated deterioration of county roads, specifically Hoctor Road.
8) Resolution in the matter of revising the procedures for collecting and refunding monies for Road Approach Permits, effective May 27, 2008.
9) Small Works Contract between Klickitat County (Buildings & Grounds Department) and Bob Thornton Paining and Drywall to provide labor, materials, equipment and other services to implement the improvements to the Annex II Senior Services Building at a cost of $6,634.00.
