2011 CALL FOR SALMON RECOVERY PROJECT APPLICATIONS
WHO CAN APPLY?
Cities, Counties, State Agencies, Private Landowners, Native American Tribes, Non-Profit Organizations, Conservation Districts, Special Purpose Districts, and Regional Fisheries Enhancement Groups.
WHAT KINDS OF PROJECTS?
Acquisitions, Restoration, Assessments and Studies, Design Only Projects, and Combination Projects (ex. Acquisition and Restoration) of high priority within the Klickitat County Lead Entity Region.
To apply, go to “http://www.rco.wa.gov/prism/about_prism.shtml,” Install PRISM and create an account to input grant applications.
May 9th – Pre-Applications are due into PRISM
***Pre-Application Requirements in PRISM***
•Project Name and ID #
•Detailed project description and evidence that the project is a high priority within the Lead Entity Recovery Strategy
•Limiting factors/problem to be addressed - includes species affected, habitat factors, etc.
•Scope of project/prescribed treatment - includes project type as defined in PRISM
•Quantitative parameters (to the extent possible) - # of linear ft. treated, # of structures, etc.
