NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Klickitat County Board of Adjustment will hold public hearings on April 2, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Klickitat County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room, 205 S. Columbus, Goldendale, WA. THE PURPOSE of said hearing is to hear all interested parties who wish to testify for or against the following proposals: CUP2007-01: Applicant: Klickitat Co. Rural Fire District #14, Representative: Frederick Henchell requesting a Conditional Use Permit to construct a 6000 sq ft building to be used as a fire hall and community center. The property is located within a portion of Section 28, T3N, R13E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (701 Struck Road, Lyle, WA). CUP2007-02: Applicant: Delta Petroleum Corporation, Landowner: McBride Ranches, Inc., requesting a Conditional Use Application for the purpose of constructing a 400’ X 500’ drill pad and gravel access road (~1 1/2 - 2 miles long) in support of drilling a 15,620’ deep exploratory natural gas well (McBride 28-13 Well). The property is located within a portion of Section 28, T5N, R23E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (off Sand Ridge Road, Alderdale vicinity). CUP2007-03: Applicant: Dwayne and Ellen Hansen requesting a Conditional Use Application for the purpose of amending Conditional Use Permit No. CU-99-15 to give access and use of the existing runway to adjacent properties, currently owned by the applicant. The property is located within a portion of Section 20, T4N, R15E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (Piper Canyon Rd, Centerville vicinity). CUP2007-04: Applicant: Nordwall, Inc. – Serenity’s (Marcia Nordwall) requesting a Conditional Use Application to amend Conditional Use Permit No. CU-94-08, expanding the permitted size of existing cabins and (2) cabins to be built. The project is located within a portion of Section 23, T6N, R10E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA, Lot 5, P76-03, Valley Subdivision (2291 Hwy 141, Trout Lake, WA) The Board of Adjustment may approve, deny, approve with conditions, table, or continue the matter to a set time and place.
