NOTICE OF PUBLIC SALE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY HAS BEEN DECLARED AS SURPLUS BY KLICKITAT COUNTY AND WILL BE SOLD AT A PUBLIC SEALED BID AUCTION BY THE TREASURER OF KLICKITAT COUNTY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ON 9TH DAY OF DECEMBER 2003 AT THE HOUR OF 1:30 P.M. TO THE HIGHEST AND BEST BIDDER MEETING OR EXCEEDING THE MINIMUM SALE PRICE. KLICKITAT COUNTY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ALL NON-COMPLIANT BIDS. Property subject to sale is more particularly described as follows: 152 NE East Street, One story single family dwelling with 1002 square feet. Minimum Sale Price: $2,720.00 157 NE East Street. 1975, 24 x 60 Mobile Home Minimum Sale Price: $1,160.00 279 NE East Street One story single family dwelling with 1029 square feet. Minimum Sale Price: $1,550.00 CONDITIONS AND TERMS OF SALE: The highest and best bidder will be notified and given 3 business days from the time of notification to present the Klickitat County Treasurer with payment of the bid amount.. Cash, certified check, money order or electronic fund transfer to the Klickitat County Treasurer’s bank account are the only acceptable forms of payment for the winning bid. If the winning bidder is unable or fails to make payment of the bid within the notification period, that bidder forfeits the bid, and the next highest bidder will be notified. The next highest bidder will be given 3 business days from the time of notification to make payment of the bid. This process will continue until a bid is made good or until all bidders have been notified and no bids are left outstanding, or the County determines it necessary to reject all bids. The winning bidder will have 30 days from date of sale to remove the building(s). All sealed bids must be submitted to the Klickitat County Treasurer’s office located at 205 S. Columbus, Room 201, MS-CH-22, Goldendale, Washington 98620 on or before 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2003. Postmarks will not be accepted. Each acceptable bid must contain: the amount of the bid, telephone number or e-mail address where the bidder can be reached during the day, the bidder’s mailing address, and the signed acknowledgement that the bidder understands and accepts the terms and conditions of the auction. If the bid form is not completely filled out and properly signed, the bid will be rejected.
