WHO CAN APPLY? Cities, Counties, State Agencies, Private Landowners, Native American Tribes, Non-Profit Organizations, Conservation Districts, Special Purpose Districts, and Regional Fisheries Enhancement Groups. WHAT KINDS OF PROJECTS? Acquisitions, Restoration, Assessments and Studies, Design Only Projects, and Combination Projects (ex. Acquisition and Restoration). WHEN? To apply, go to www.rco.wa.gov/srfb and select PRISM to input your grant applications. May 7th – Pre-Applications are due into PRISM ***Pre-Application Requirements in PRISM*** Project Name and ID # Site Limiting factors/problem to be addressed - includes species affected, habitat factors, etc. - Should be fairly complete in pre-app stage. Scope of project/prescribed treatment - includes project type as defined in PRISM - Generally complete but some details can come later. Quantitative parameters (to the extent possible) - # of linear ft. treated, # of structures, etc. Estimated budget - can be rough in pre-app stage Estimated timeline May 20th – Pre-Applications will be made to the Klickitat County Technical Committee at 9AM at the Lyle Community Center. June 17th – Project Tour with the Klickitat County Technical Committee, Klickitat County Citizen’s Review Committee and the SRFB Technical Review Panel July 9th – Final application materials due into PRISM August 5th – Project presentations to the Klickitat County Citizen’s Review Committee, 7PM at the Lyle Community Center August 25th – Applications will have final submission by the Lead Entity Coordinator in PRISM. WHERE? Any salmon bearing waters within Klickitat County! WHY? Salmon recovery is everyone’s business!
