NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Klickitat County Planning Commission will hold public hearings on September 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Klickitat County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room, 205 S. Columbus, Goldendale, WA. THE PURPOSE of said hearing is to hear all interested parties who wish to testify for or against the following proposals: • SH2010-01: Applicant: Hugh Boyd requesting a shorelines conditional use permit to install a single family residential power line from an existing KPUD overhead electric line and associated infrastructure (which is located within the 100’ conservancy shoreline setback of the White Salmon River) to the proposed home site. The property is located within a portion of Section 25, T4N, R10E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (Husum, WA). • ZON2010-02 Applicants: Lon Ball/Robert Schmid requesting a rezone of 130 acres from Extensive Agriculture to Extensive Agriculture with Cluster Overlay and a waiver request is to allow minimum height and width allowing one-way directional traffic on the existing “historical” covered bridge for access to farm and future lot development that could result if rezone is approved. The proposed project is located within a portion of Section 24, T6N, R10E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (Little Mountain Rd, Trout Lake vicinity). • ZON2010-03: Applicant: SDS Co (Frank Backus, Representative) requesting a rezone of 80 acres from Forest Resource (FR) to Forest Resource with Cluster Overlay (FR/CO). The property is located within a portion of Section 18, T5N, R11E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (off State Hwy 141, Trout Lake vicinity). The Planning Commission may make recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners to approve, deny, approve with conditions, table, or continue the matter to a set time and place. The application is available for review at the Klickitat County Planning Department, 228 W. Main St., Goldendale, WA.
