Notice is hereby given that Klickitat County issued Mitigated Determinations of Non-significance (MDNS) on June 9, 2011 under SEPA Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) and the Klickitat County Environmental Ordinance Number 121084 for the following proposals: SEP2011-11: Applicant: Klickitat County Public Works requesting a Conditional Use Permit (CUP2011-04) to allow for expansion of an existing quarry, CU98-07, on the entire 80+/- acre parcel owned by Klickitat County. The property location is within a portion of Section 3, T4N, R17E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (Badger Gulch Road and Woodland Road, Goldendale vicinity). After review of completed environmental checklist and other information on file the Klickitat County Responsible Official has determined that these proposals will not have probable significant adverse impacts on the environment. Copies of the MDNS’s are available at the Klickitat County Planning Department during normal business hours. Comments or appeals on the above environmental reviews will be accepted until 5:00 p.m., July 1, 2011. Comments shall be submitted to the Klickitat County Planning Department, 228 West Main, MS: CH-17, Goldendale, WA 98620; appeals must be filed with the Klickitat County Auditor’s office with the appeal fee of $2,500.00 (see classification decision). |
