Construction UpdatesRock Creek Bridge CRP 274: 2/2/10 Grout was approved last Wednesday. Girders were delivered on Friday morning. The final girders were placed by 11 am. The contractor is working on tying rebar and forming for the end walls, girder stops and diaphragms. They plan to pour concrete early next week. They may also start on embankment for the bridge approaches. This contract provides for the improvement of Bickleton Hwy and Rock Creek Rd by construction of new 105 foot bridge over Rock Creek on Bickleton Hwy. Also the improvement of approximately 660-feet of roadway on Bickleton Hwy, approximately 275-feet of roadway on Rock Creek Rd, installation of guardrail, placement of rip rap protection, and other work.
