Construction UpdatesAustin Rd CRP 289: 8/24/10 Clearing and grubbing continue as well as removal of structures and obstruction. Excavation may begin this week. Many boulders are being encountered during clearing and grubbing. This contract provides for the improvement of 0.74 miles of Austin Road by widening, minor improvements to horizontal and vertical alignments, improving and installing drainage, surfacing, fencing, and other work
Johnson Rd CRP 284: 8/24/10 James Dean Construction has all large trees removed and continue work on clearing and grubbing. JDC may begin excavation this week. Most culverts have been delivered to the site. This contract provides for the improvement of 1.65 Miles of Johnson Road by widening, minor improvements to horizontal and vertical alignments, installing drainage, surfacing, fencing, guardrail and other work
Matsen Quarry Crushing: 8/24/10 Contracts and bonds have been sent to DeAtley Crushing Co. This contract provides for the manufacturing and stockpiling of various surfacing materials.
2010 Chip Seal Project: 8/24/10 Contracts and bonds have been sent to Central Washington Asphalt, Inc. This contract provides for the improvement of 5.58 Miles of Horseshoe Bend Road, 1.00 Miles of Van Hoy Road and 5.09 Miles of Dot Road by placement of light bituminous surface treatments and other work.
