KCSO Marine

Columbia River The KCSO maintains a very limited Marine Division which includes boating-related enforcement and education on waterways in and around Klickitat County.  Residents are reminded that the Columbia River and other waterways are very treacherous and anyone on the water is responsible for their own safety.  Emergency response on the water is limited and takes time.  We do not normally provide rescue services.   Boaters, windsurfers, fishermen and others should all carry personal floatation devices and be educated on marine safety and survival.
Washington State requires mandatory Boater Education.  Click here to learn more. Deputy Randy Wells
