Public Meeting: Consider final approval for Boundary Line Adjustment No. BLA2008-08; Applicants: MMP Investments, LLC (Papageorges/Menard)
VI. (1:45): Consent Agenda:
1) Resolution granting a request for a 12 month extension for final approval of Short Plat SPL2007-21 and that the new deadline for final approval is June 20, 2010; Applicant representative is Jim Clark/Owner is Judith Clark. 2) Change Order No. 3 to Professional Engineering Services Contract (C21607) between Klickitat County and ADCOMM Engineering Company to provide additional engineering, implementation support, and equipment to be installed at the Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center in Goldendale, the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fisheries Enforcement (CRITFE) dispatch center in Hood River, and the Golgotha Butte and Hood River radio sites; And Change Order No. 4 to Professional Engineering Services Contract (C21607) between Klickitat County and ADCOMM Engineering Company to provide additional engineering, implementation support, and equipment for the Hood River radio site VHF Fire and Law Dispatch base stations; And Change Order No. 5 to Professional Engineering Services Contract (C21607) between Klickitat County and ADCOMM Engineering Company to provide additional engineering, implementation support, and equipment in order to provide telecommunications transport “connectivity” to Juniper Point in the likely event Rural 7 will be required to decommission their existing circa 1980 2 GHz analog microwave between Goldendale and Juniper Point in the near future or the equipment simply fails.
3) Contract Agreement between Klickitat County (Public Health Department) and Dr. Liette Witherrite for the purpose of providing information to Klickitat County residents about cancer prevention, as a speaker during the Speaker Series component of the Women Choosing Health event in White Salmon on May 16, 2009. 4) Contract Agreement between Klickitat County (Public Health Department) and Steve Koontz for the purpose of providing information to Klickitat County residents about the effects of Meth use on individuals and families, as a speaker during the Speaker Series component of the Women Choosing Health event in White Salmon on May 16, 2009. 5) Contract Agreement between Klickitat County (Public Health Department) and Nancy Barron for the purpose of providing information to Klickitat County residents about depression, as a speaker during the Speaker Series component of the Women Choosing Health event in White Salmon on May 16, 2009. 6) Contract Agreement between Klickitat County (Public Health Department) and Patricia Beeman for the purpose of providing information to Klickitat County residents about spiritual health, as a speaker during the Speaker Series component of the Women Choosing Health event in White Salmon on May 16, 2009. 7) Contract Agreement between Klickitat County (Public Health Department) and Dr. Chris Samuels for the purpose of providing information to Klickitat County residents about improving cardiovascular health, as a speaker during the Speaker Series component of the Women Choosing Health event in White Salmon on May 16, 2009. 8) Proclamation declaring the week of May 10 through 16, 2009 as “Peace Officers Memorial Week” in Klickitat County. 9) Personnel Authorization to Hire to begin the advertising process to fill 2 to 4 temporary summer youth Engineer Intern positions within the Public Works Department at a Range 8, Step A. 10) Resolution in the matter of implementing an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Policy to outline how AEDs will be used, program responsibility, physician oversight, selection and security, locations, training and liability for the use of the AEDs within Klickitat County facilities. 11) Agreement for Digital Data Sharing between Klickitat County and East Klickitat Wind Power Project LLC (“EKWPP”) for specific digital data compiled by the Public Works Department in an Arc View “shape” file format. 12) Request for concurrence to award bid to Tapani Underground, Inc. – Battleground, Washington, for the Fisher Hill Road Project, CRP No. 250, as bid in the amount of $1,245,210.20. 13) Request for concurrence to award bid to Tapani Underground, Inc. – Battleground, Washington, for the Horseshoe Bend Road Project, CRP No. 279, as bid in the amount of $1,136,141.80. 14) Personnel Authorization to hire outside the pay schedule for the Lead Flagger position within the Public Works Department at Range 5, Step C. 15) Scheduling public meetings for 1:30 PM on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 as follows: Consider Planning Commission recommendation for Rezone Request ZON2009-02; Applicant: Pat’s Ranch Mart and Consider Planning Commission recommendation for Shoreline Conditional Use Permit SH2009-01: Applicant Yakama Indian Nation – WDFW.
