NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE GRANTING OF A FRANCHISE AGREEMENT BETWEEN KLICKITAT COUNTY AND UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Acting by and through the United States Department of Energy Bonneville Power Administration In accordance to statutory provisions of RCW 36.55, RCW 80.32 and in accordance with Klickitat County’s Accommodation of Utilities on County Road Right-of-Way Policy the County Commissioners are to hold a public hearing prior to granting a non exclusive franchise to install, locate, construct, maintain, repair, reconstruct, upgrade, operate, use, patrol, and if necessary, remove electrical transmission facilities along with lines of poles or structures and appurtenance thereto, supporting conductors of one or more electric circuits of any voltage and any communication lines or equipment and appurtenances thereto (“Transmission System”), in, on, under, upon, over, along, across or through the roads, highways, streets, alleys, bridges, rights-of-way and other property within lie within those legal subdivision within Klickitat County road rights-of-way. Applicant: UNITED STATE OF AMERICA, ACTING BY AND THROUGH THE United States Department of Energy, Bonneville Power Administration. Location: County wide A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers in the Klickitat County Courthouse, Goldendale, Washington at which time any person may appear and be heard for or against the proposed franchise.
