Klickitat County Solid Waste Dept. is offering home composting bins to residents of Klickitat County. The cost for each bin is $30 and we ask that participants agree to take a follow up survey via email three and six months after the purchase of the bin. The purchase of the bin includes a manual for use and an introductory composting session.
These composting bins are available at a reduced price thanks to a grant through the Washington State Department of Ecology. Earth Machine composters retail for $99 online and in stores but with grant funding we are able to cover the majority of the cost.
