Responsibilities

The accounting responsibilities of the County Auditor include accounts payable, payroll and general accounting as well as preparation and publishing of the county's annual financial report.

Accounts Payable 

Accounts payable is responsible for providing an independent and impartial review of invoices for legitimate expenditures of County funds. Once the auditing is completed, accounts payable generates warrants for payment of the invoices processed for that time period.

Payroll

Payroll is responsible for all county payroll, processing of related transactions including benefits, quarterly and annual reports, and generation and distribution of county employee paychecks. 

General Accounting

Accounting staff is responsible for control and issuance of all disbursements, financial accounting,production of the County's Annual Financial Report, and serves as liason for the County's Annual State Audit.
