Klickitat County Senior Services offices are now open to the public and following CDC and Washington State DOH COVID -19 Safety Protocols.   We encourage you to call in advance whenever possible so we can schedule appointments for one on one services as needed.  Staff are available to answer questions, direct individuals to available community resources, and assist applications for benefits, issues with Social Security or Medicare, etc.

Those coming to our offices are required to self-screen for possible COVID symptoms and requested to not come in if any symptoms are present.  Face coverings are not currently required but may change depending upon Washington State and CDC recommendations.  Face coverings are available and will be provided as well as handwashing facilities and hand sanitizing stations.  Everyone will be encouraged to follow recommendations on COVID safety protocols.   

Our Congregate Senior meal site programs are currently open in White Salmon, Goldendale, and Lyle.  We also continue to provide home delivered meals and pick up meal options for seniors.

Meals are being provided to Seniors (60+) and spouse or caregiver in home with a Senior that meets the home delivered meal qualification criteria and as follows:

• Frozen home delivered meals anywhere in Klickitat County
• Hot Meals at 12-Noon on Mondays and Wednesdays delivered within 30 miles of our kitchen in White Salmon.
• Hot Meals at 12-Noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays delivered within 30 miles of our kitchen in Goldendale.

Seniors can also arrange a curbside pick up of a hot meal at our White Salmon or Goldendale locations on the hot meal days if preferred.  Meal deliveries are also dependent upon volunteer availability to deliver meals, especially in outlying areas.

Seniors can also call if they need essential grocery delivery or prescription pick up. Or if there is a need to have a food bank box delivered to their home.

Mt. Adams Transportation (MATS) Dial-A-Ride service is operating and provides transportation services.
